Kristen’s love for dancing started at the young age of 4 in Warren, OH. She then spent the next 14 years training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Gymnastics and Theatre. Though she spent most of her time competing, she also was a part of Easy Street Productions, a local performing company.
At the age or 20, Kristen and her professional partner were selected to perform as the featured couple on Regent Seven Seas in a show called Ballroom Bravo, which literally took her around the world. After returning to Ohio Kristen became Ohio Fred Astaire Professional Open Rhythm Undefeated Champions, as well as National Fred Astaire Professional Open Rhythm and Rising Star finalists.
Kristen and her current partner Todor Kondov made their debut and won New England’s Professional Open International Latin. Since then, they began to compete in American Rhythm winning Fred Astaire New England’s Open and Closed Professional Rhythm. Besides competing, she was also a featured contestant on the hit show “So You Think You Can Dance”, which took her to Vegas week finals during season 8 & 9. You can find her audition on YouTube, under her name.
Along with her professional career Kristen’s love for teaching helped her to produce many top students and over 20 top showcase awards, on a regional and national level. Her goal is to inspire passion and show every one of her students that dancing can truly change lives.
